Pink Clay & Rose Pore Cleansing Mask

This is our first purifying clay mask and we couldn't be more proud. It took us a long time to come up with the perfect formula, but it’s finally here! What’s the purpose of a clay mask, you ask? We’ll tell you, but with a warning: you’ll want to get your hands on it straight away.

This mask is designed to deeply cleanse and slightly exfoliate skin while refining its texture; Our Ondo Beauty 36.5 Pink Clay Mask does all of that, visibly enhancing the appearance of enlarged pores, blackheads, balancing oil levels and reducing the appearance of blemishes. How? By deeply purifying the skin to prevent the appearance of blackheads and pimples and accelerating the cycle of cell renewal of the skin with its mild exfoliating properties, blurring spots and imperfections, leaving a more uniform tone.

All of this thanks to its spectacular formula. Kaolin pink clay is the star ingredient in this mask, alongside pink calamine, both giving the mask its distinctive colour. Do you know what calamine is? It is a natural mixture of zinc oxide, which is white in color, and iron oxide, which is red. That's why it's pink! Calamine is an ideal ingredient to improve the appearance of blemishes, pimples and balance acne-prone skin with excess sebum, but at the same time it also softens and soothes inflammation and redness. It also contains a complex of 1.1% BHA and PHA acids; Together they gently exfoliate the skin, removing the dead cells accumulated in the outermost layer of the skin as well as any dirt and pollution. It penetrates deep inside pores to clean purify them avoiding any blockage resulting in blackheads. To finish off, we have blended in volcanic ash from Jeju Island, the largest island in South Korea! Thanks to gentle chemical exfoliation, skin is left fresh and luminous without the micro tears physical exfoliation can cause. Of course, we also had to blend in moisturizing ingredients to this clay mask. Here’s a breakdown: hyaluronic acid to hydrate and soothe the skin, plant extracts such as pomegranate with antioxidant benefits and herbal extracts that have been fermented to improve the quality of the active ingredients: tea tree has anti-inflammatory, antibacterial and refreshing properties, lavender and rosemary are characterized by healing and anti-inflammatory properties that help fight acne, smooth and refresh the skin. Finally, as you will see in its INCI, this clay mask is made up of 32% rose water instead of conventional water. This beautiful flower not only has anti-inflammatory properties that soften the skin, but also symbolizes love, in this case self-love, and is important for us to convey that feeling to you.
