When skin has visible pores, blackheads and an uneven texture, it usually needs balance more than overly harsh actives. Pore Peel Serum is built around that idea: helping to exfoliate, regulate excess oil and refine the skin's surface without leaving it feeling dry or uncomfortable.
Its star ingredient is bifida ferment, which makes up 87% of the formula. In K-beauty, it is widely used to support the skin barrier and keep the complexion feeling more resilient, which is a smart choice in an exfoliating formula. Exfoliation can be great, but it works even better when the rest of the formula also helps care for the skin and keeps it from becoming over-sensitised.
This serum combines bifida ferment with 2% niacinamide, which helps improve the look of pores and balance excess sebum, plus a trio of gentle acids:
- Salicylic acid works inside the pore, making it ideal if blackheads and shine are your main concern.
- Lactic acid helps smooth the skin's surface texture.
- Gluconolactone, a gentler PHA, supports renewal with better tolerance.
Together, they help skin look clearer, smoother and more even without that stripped feeling that many sensitive skins dislike.
It also contains Evermat™, a plant-based sebum-regulating complex, centella asiatica to soothe, and tannin-rich extracts that help pores look more refined.
The texture is light, fast-absorbing and leaves skin feeling clean and polished. One thing to keep in mind: if your skin is sensitive, it is best to start by using it at night and not in the same routine as stronger exfoliants or retinoids.
